Today I will share with you a little scene I made in Unreal Engine 4. I was working on some cartoon water materials and, during the process, I needed some object to test how my water material interacts with other meshes. There was nothing better than a boat, so I made this lowpoly cartoon handpainted ship. I call him "Red Wave". I will upload another post with a little breakdown of the water material. By the time, I upload this scene made it with 3dsmax, Photoshop, Substance Designer, and Unreal Engine 4.
Feel free to smash the like if you want and I really want to improve my skills everyday so feel free to give me feedback too ;)
The ship mesh has its own animation. But the base is only animated by the materials I created. I use different ID's for the base and I gave a water material on the top, a caustic one above the sand one, and another basic color on the base.
A different perspective.
The full-boat. Only one texture (handpainted base color).
